FAQ
Questions we hear a lot.
Will it void my engine warranty?
No. Bureau Veritas has certified that fuel treated with FORTecX Eco remains fully compliant with EN590 (diesel) and EN228 (petrol). Legally it’s still standard fuel, so its use cannot be claimed to breach an engine warranty.
Which fuels can I treat?
FORTecX Eco is a multi-fuel conditioner: regular diesel and petrol as well as marine and other light distillate fuels. If you have a specific fuel or blend in mind, ask us and we’ll confirm suitability.
Is it safe for the environment?
The formula is made from naturally occurring, non-toxic, environmentally friendly ingredients — and its whole purpose is to cut what comes out of the exhaust: CO₂, CO, NOx, SOx and particulate matter.
How quickly will I see results?
Emulsification and lubricity benefits start with the first treated tank. Detergency is progressive — deposits clean up over successive tanks — so fuel-economy gains typically build over the first few weeks of continuous use.
Do I need any equipment to dose it?
For vehicles and small tanks, you simply pour in the measured amount when fuelling. For bulk storage and marine bunkering, dosing is done during the fuel transfer — larger operations can automate this, but no equipment is required to start.
